HIGH AND LOW

PICK & WIN RATE HEROES

There are some outliers in the current meta that have both excessively high pick rates and win rates. Consequently, they crowded out a few heroes from the meta, resulting in some heroes having both excessively low pick rates and win rates. To improve diversity on the battlefield, we are nerfing the strengths of these high pick and win rate heroes.

HIGH MOBILITY WARRIORS

We have noticed that there are a few warriors that have too much mobility that allowed them easy access to the opponents' backline. This resulted in assassins being crowded out from the current meta, and also caused marksmen and mages with low mobility to not be viable. We are cutting back on the mobility for these warriors. For warriors that were heavily affected by this, we have increased their damage output slightly in compensation.

STACK-BASED MAGES

In the recent patches, we have reduced ability cooldowns for mages, allowing them to adapt to the rapid pace of team fights in AOV. However, stack-based mages such as Aleister and Azzen'ka were left behind, as most of their power were locked behind triggering their passives. In this version, we are reducing their stack duration but we are also reducing the interval between triggering their passives twice. Players can now trigger their passives more frequently during team fights, which should lead to better performance.

POWER CURVE ADJUSTMENTS FOR LATE-GAME CENTRIC HEROES

We noticed that there are lot more skirmishes during the early game phase in higher ranked games and pro games. Both sides tend to pick strong early game mid laners and junglers to gain an early advantage, then exert heavy pressure onto the opponent's jungle. We noticed there are some heroes with really low early game skirmishing. If players pick them then they will easily be pressured by the opponents which ends up with the opponents snowballing. We have decided to buff these heroes' early game phase, allowing them easier access to late game power-spikes. However, we have nerfed their growth values to keep their late-game power in check.

Arena Mechanic Adjustments

To optimize the issue in which it is difficult to get to the base and minion waves are too easy to clear in the late game, we have enhanced the attributes of the minion waves in the late game. Previously, minion wave attributes only grew for up to 20 minutes. Now, we've changed this to 30 minutes.

  • Fixed a bug in which turning the joystick clockwise and counterclockwise increases or decreases the spin speed when Omega uses his ultimate
  • Fixed a bug in which there are display abnormalities of Chaugnar's default skin and Imperium Guard skin in the Main Menu
  • Fixed a bug in which the actual effective range of Krixi's ultimate is different from the ability indicator range
